Residential Insulation

Whether it's one house or an entire neighborhood, Insulating Sales is equiped to take care of your insulation needs.

Attic insulation can be installed with fiberglass batts or blown-in cellulose or fiberglass. Increasing the depth of insulation in the attic increases the R-value which decreases the amount of air lost through the attic.

Exterior walls can be insulated with fiberglass batts, cellulose wall spray or polyurethane foam. The R-value of insulation used is determined by the building code for the county in which you are building. A higher R-value insulation can be used to provide you with a higher level of protection from the outside elements. Selected interior walls can be batted for sound reduction at the discretion of the homeowner.

Polyurethane Foam insulation is a professionally installed two-component insulation system with an R-value of 6.5 per inch. The spray-applied liquid expands during installation and cures to a rigid foam that completely seals and insulates cavities, cracks and penetrations throughout the building envelope. It reduces drafts and moisture intrusion for a more comfortable home while saving energy - reducing monthly heating/cooling bills by up to 50 percent! Polyurethane foam provides a quieter indoor environment by minimizing airborne sounds and increases strength and rigidity of the wall assembly which provides added durability. It contributes to improved indoor air quality while maximizing the home’s resale value.

Cellulose Insulation is manufactured from recycled newsprint and paper fibers with an R-value of 3.7 per inch making it easy to go green! The recycled content is greater than 80%; the highest content of any insulation product. It is used for walls, attics and floor/ceiling assemblies. Cellulose insulation contains environmentally safe fire resistant chemicals and is produced in accordance with ASTM and CSPC standards for safety. It’s the environmentally friendly choice for reducing energy demand, air flow, sound and the cost to heat and cool while improving comfort.
